We are looking for a search engine optimisation specialist for a permanent full-time role based in our South Melbourne office.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience creating and delivering proven SEO strategies, ideally in an agency environment. We’re looking for an SEO expert that understands and stays up-to-date with the ever-evolving SEO landscape. The role requires a strong analytical and data-focused mindset and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, reviewing and analysing SEO opportunities for our large portfolio of clients
• Conducting SEO website audits
• Carrying out comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities
• Creating and implementing strong on-page optimisation strategies
• Creating and implementing off-site optimisation strategies and link analysis
• Developing link building strategies
• Managing and tracking SEO campaign progress
• Analysing SEO strategies used by competitors
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in search, analytics and digital marketing

Key Qualifications & Experience

• 3-5 years’ experience with SEO – agency experience will be highly regarded
• Working knowledge of Moz, Ahrefs, SEMrush and other SEO tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Ads
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to clearly communicate technical issues
• Ability to work efficiently, while remaining organised and task oriented
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and projects
• A positive attitude
• Ability to work within a team, as well as independently
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a team dynamic
• Proficiency with Search Console, MS Office, WordPress and other CMSs

The successful candidate will work under the Content Manager and will be tasked primarily with writing and editing SEO optimised web content. Digital or marketing agency experience would be a bonus but is not essential. Based from our Melbourne office in South Bank, the position is perfect for someone looking to launch their digital writing/editing career or gain working experience as a writer/editor.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Writing high-quality blog posts and website copy across a broad range of industries
• Editing and proofreading digital content to the highest standards
• Providing constructive feedback to our teams of writers
• Researching and familiarising yourself with client businesses and industries
• Preparing content briefs
• Liaising with writers and account managers to ensure all work is delivered to specification and deadline

Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field
• Demonstrated experience writing and editing for digital channels
• The ability to quickly produce large volumes of high-quality content
• An ability to adapt writing tone and style for different industries and target audiences
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong and flexible editorial skills
• Knowledge or understanding of SEO writing best practice
• Experience with MS Office, Google Analytics, and across social media channels
• Experience with WordPress (knowledge of HTML would be a plus)

eMarket Experts An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and passionate Digital Account Manager with an experience in search engine marketing. We are an award winning progressive digital marketing agency located in Port Melbourne with a focus on performance and results. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be up to date with the latest Google trends in SEO and demonstrate a proven track records of success in SEO.

This role would include but not limited to:

• Enrich client accounts
• Work with small to medium sized clients almost autonomously
• Identify SEO opportunities for clients.
• Conduct SEO Site Audits.
• Comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with your team to create carefully tailored SEO strategies
• Implement these strategies with SEO Specialists (content marketing, technical off-page and on-page)
• Manage and track SEO campaign progress.
• Professional client liaising skills.
• Keep clients in the loop on our strategies and tactics.

• 1-2 years previous SEO experience – agency experience is highly regarded.
• Working Knowledge of MOZ, Ahrefs, Semrush and other SEO tools.
• Excellent verbal & written communication.
